The project will include a boardwalk connecting the current Lacken Walk to the Ossary Bridge. Construction on this project starts on Thursday the 1st of September and will last approximately 3 months. The Freshford Loop is 8km long and includes a variety of terrain including forest, farmland and river side trails. This launch is being organised by the Freshford Heritage Society, Kilkenny LEADER Partnership and the KETTOW project. Light refreshments will be served in the Freshford Squash club after the walk.
